I have watched England at Wembley many times, most recently when we qualified for the last World Cup. I would rather people focus on the bigger picture rather than lambaste the latest carrier of the poison chalice. Sure, some deeper level of analysis won't make tabloid headlines. The media thrive on knee-jerk reactions, particularly negative ones.
I am not defending Hodgson he had to go. The players will remain, as will the FA. As will the Premier League.
