Interesting to see Etheridge leave. Had very positive reports from Alfreton. Spent the back end of last year with Lincoln. I don't know enough of his style to say whether he fits the bill regarding the passing style. Certainly one to consider if affordable.

Also Marcus Dinanga, Hornby's colleague via Burton, has had a storming season with Matlock. Wouldn't sniff at snapping him up on loan for next year. http://www.burtonmail.co.uk/burton-albion-s-marcus-dinanga-wins-evo-stik-npl-premier-division-young-player-of-the-season-award/story-30261130-detail/story.html
If he was at Lincon last year, why would he join us?

Dinanga looks interesting. Especially considering we were all but guaranteed signing him if Burton were to stay up. Another deal may be in the offering...

I guess it's that first team factor. As we've stated before the signing of players gives them vital first team football and gives them a platform from which to excel and kick on up the ladder. I imagine a number of L2 or NL sides to be considering him. But, providing he can slot in to the footballing philosophy, we could offer first team football. Indeed, we currently have no senior goalkeeper! And don't forget other players "rejected league offers" to join us last summer.

Dinanga also comes with the Oasis inspired "Don't look back Dinanga" chant which, in my book, is worth signing him for alone!

Crackers signing by Salford. Really very bizarre.
The best team we ever had- since i've been watching the Harriers (2002-)

Must be a squad player if Salford have any thoughts of the title/promotion. Just not effective in the box for a centre forward, looked a decent enough footballer outside of it.

According to some on Twitter I shouldn't be mentioning former players but tough. :beanshaker:

Jordan Jones has joined Bromsgrove Sporting. https://bromsgrovestandard.co.uk/sport/bromsgrove-sporting-snap-up-jordan-jones-from-redditch-united/

He thinks I should only tweet current players and club news.

Yeh, I'll retweet such exciting things as golf days and what's on the menu upstairs

I think we should have a sticky thread of Ex-Players. I am always interested in what happens to ex-players whether they are in the League e.g. Lolley, Marv, Chey, Vincent, Jamma etc. or players like Jordan Jones or Wayne Thomas. If they are on a live game on TV it is good to check them out to see how they have progressed. Nice to see if they get a new contract, move upwards, down or sideways etc....Always pleasant to see disliked ex-players suffer ignominy too!

It would be useful for those, like me, who don't follow Twitbook or have the time or inclination to follow other leagues very closely.
There are people out there who provide constructive criticism and I thank them. Then there are people who criticize solely because it makes them feel smarter. - Benjamin Franklin
