Quite the squad Russ is stitching together. Great news, welcome back Luke!
Starting to work up some real optimism about next season.

Very strong looking Midfield...which is what you need to get out this league.

Will be very interested to see where he plays. Although he was great as a holding midfielder for us he's since played a lot at the back (although his career seems to gave drifted a bit).
Perhaps he'll start as a left sided centre back in a back three and fill in as a holding midfielder in some games?

Does this mean Butterfield's days are numbered; plays in similar position?

Yes, another good signing.
Nowhere for Butterfield to fit in now, plenty of midfield options.

What used to be called a utility player.Perhaps he'll start as a left sided centre back in a back three and fill in as a holding midfielder in some games?
Never hurts to have a few in the squad who canswitch and play in various areas.
Graham Allner used to have at least 3-4 of the type.....Kevin Willetts, Mark Yates, Mark Buckland, etc......

Another quality signing offering more physicality to our squad... another goalscorer, full back and gk and we’re there I reckon..
On paper this is probably the best squad we’ve accumulated in terms of suitability to succeed in NLN.

Yes glad to him him signed up. I always thought that a manager would try to convert him to a centre back with his combination of size and skill.

Very centre midfield heavy. Will need some pace either side, but an encouraging signing. Shame that Butterfield has gone (we presume), interested to see where he turns up.
The best team we ever had- since i've been watching the Harriers (2002-)

Re: Maxwell back. As expected
I seemed to remember that Gary Rowett had him down as a potential defender, and a bit of googling brought this up.....
However, the Blues manager thinks his future could lie in an even deeper role.
“He’s got the size and stature. He needs to work a little bit on that agility of movement of playing against quicker and sharper players in the Championship, which will certainly test him.
“But he’s big lad and I think he could end up being a very good left-sided centre-back. At the minute as a holding midfielder he gives you a little something different.”
