Sounded like they gave it everything second half. Gotta be happy with that. Just no luck in front of goal, and gave themselves too much to do after being caught on the break, which happens.

Would like to see more rotation for these Tuesday games. Two sloppy first half performances. Though Montrose and the new lad Redmond's absences seem a little suspicious to me. Wonder if they've both had the virus.

York and then Kettering away certainly won't be easy in an attempt to get back on the horse.

Don't understand this. We never play hit and hope. Why?

Just got back and that really isn't what happened. We were not unlucky. We weren't at the races from start to finish. In fact considering we were behind for more than half the game we threatened very little. For some reason we played a huge number of long hopeful balls which seemed a strange tactic as the pitch didn't seem to have too many demons in it.

I guess you just have to put it down to one of those days and hope it is not repeated too often. A win against York on Saturday and it'll soon be forgotten.

God that was a rough performance! Perhaps it had been coming for a while now, our only chance of getting anything out of that game was the fog! Definitely one to forget!

Aggborough is a palace compared to Edgar Street, I forget each time just how poor it is!

Virtually the whole the second half was played in their half, not that we could see much of it because of the mist/fog. It was a night of frustration for players and fans alike with not enough quality in the final third. Hereford had a plan and it worked, closing us down and taking their limited scoring opportunities, three efforts on goal and two goals to saviour.

I could refer readers to my previous post but I would rather praise ex-Harrier Josh Gowling for doing a number on us. Somehow he had his team ready and we had no answers. They defended deep, showed patience and hit us on the break. We were somewhat naive I felt and played into their hands after a bright opening. Other teams may watch this and learn how to play against us. One or two of ours went missing tonight and why was Sammy out on the wing?

Montrose has always, for me, been an injury concern. I suspect we will not get to a point where we get a run of games from him. He's also a new Father isn't he so might have something to do with his absence? Does he live local?

Hereford were struggling for numbers over Xmas and had some games postponed. They brought in three players before the Gateshead game and last night it paid dividends. Good for them.

Russ's interview was the right one to give. No complaining.

Covid prevented me from being there. Sounds like a good one to miss.

Have to say of all our many managers since Graham Allner, Russ Penn comes across the best. Honest, open and realistic. And seems like a really good bloke too. We’re dead lucky to have him.

Someone give ‘em a shout for me on Saturday. I’ll still be isolating. Triple vaccinated and feeling like a sack of shit.

Cross the road onto the new road then follow your nose. Or this map :)

I am really concerned over injuries, squad size and fatigue in the next 4 weeks.

Certainly Edgar Street is a dump - The Stadium of Concrete Pillars...

We looked really flat last night, all the way through. Hereford were there for the taking for the first 20 minutes - they looked short on confidence - but they grew into the game and throughly deserved to win. Brandon Hall was good.

As has been said, it was strange that we hit so many aimless balls into the channels, but that may have been beacuse of their effective press.

My MOM goes to Bajrami just because I love watching him play, but everyone was poor.

The only person who predicted an away loss was Colgofray -so two points to him - otherwise the prediction league table remains the same
