I'd enjoy Reynolds while we have him. I read some stuff when we signed him on loan and it felt like people over at Notts County think he has a big part to play in their future.

He’s only 19! Excellent performance yesterday.

Shout out to Warrington’s 43 yr old centre half Peter Clarke! Fantastic to still be playing at this level. Also a shout out to their 43 stone forward, Amis.

Not much to add other than agree that Ryley Reynolds is superb. What an engine, and no little quality. 19 you say!? We're never getting him off Notts County then.

I'm very easy to wind up on this - perhaps I should let it go - but I thought Warrington's time wasting was disgraceful and I'd be embarrased.

Think the only way Reynolds comes back is of both us and Notts go up. Although some L2 teams may fancy him onloan if they are scouting our level.

Going back to AMS, I agree with Phil that he looked jaded yesterday. Yes, he put in a shift winning his headers in defence and some of his flick-ons from long balls could have opened up real chances for those running off him. But it's in the opponents' penalty area (and, lets face it, this is where it matters for a CF) where he was slow to react and appeared to lack the energy to chase in after a half-chance. On two or three occasions the Warrington GK spilled the ball out into the six-yard box and you'd expect your CF to be chasing in. I accept that none of the rebounds off the GK were real chances but nevertheless it would be good to see AMS hunting down the scraps
Perhaps I'm asking too much. He is 35!

I agree. First half goal kicks and offside free kicks were each taking 30 seconds plus while throw ins were slowed to a crawl. Its not just that one team though, seems these days all dead ball situations take an eternity to resolve.
- and how come Warrington had TWO female physio's coming on the pitch at the same time?
I don't think I've ever seen that before....? Strange.

Devine signed an 18month deal earlier this month.
I said to a mate yesterday if we went up and Lane had some cash / secured more investment I’d table a 100k bid for Reynolds to test their resolve. He is already some player and will continue to improve.
100K for Reynolds - recall that Notts County paid us 50K for Austin.
