The referee, Jacob Viera, has an interesting back story.

Read about him here: https://www.grassrootspost.uk/2022/03/30/jacob-viera/

Thanks to Ben Hudspith for pointing me to this article.

Wow! With a back story like that having a few hundred non-league football fans showering you with abuse should be water off a ducks back.

0 for Oxford win
3 for a draw
14 for a Harriers away win

but i guess after the Darlo match anything could happen . . .

Incredible story about Mr Viera, thanks for sharing. “Life has knocked me down a few times” is one hell of a way of putting at it. Hopefully he finds peace, safety and security in this country.

Making the (short) trip up from London for this one. Closest game of the season 😁

What an amazing story. Kind of puts football watching in its place. I never cease to give thanks for having the luck to live in a (relatively) peaceful, civilised country.

Hope we can raise our game for this one. Last night was a bit worrying.

Will be there for this. Glad we've got a vaguely south-east game for the London Harriers to go to. Some good pubs, and great buildings to look at on the way, to hopefully securing three points.

I can't recall from last year - but the ticketing suggests it's segregated. Surely not, given in the league above we weren't last season?

Last season was weird. We were officially unsegregated and stood amongst the Oxford fans at the end Harriers were attacking in the first half, then went round to the other side at half time and the stewards would only allow us to stand in one half of the terrace, leaving the other half empty.

In Oxford's case it's difficult to tell whether they're now segregating or just trying to identify the number of away supporters, but there seems to be a trend of introducing segregation where none has previously existed. Chorley and Buxton appeared to be trying it for the first time this season, in both cases for standing only (as for example at Southport for many years) and neither had quite got their act together. A steward at Needham Market said that they'd been advised by the police to segregate but had decided not to. Although I'm not usually in favour of ignoring the constabulary in this case it seemed entirely justifiable.

Given we attract a few “yoof” I think segregation is best. Imagine if we didn’t have it at aggborough given the young mob turned up with Warrington on Saturday. It would have made the issues in the north stand against Newport 11/12 years ago look like a tea party.
Must win Saturday and we seem to a bit better away from home especially as teams are more adventurous than they are when they come to Aggborough.
Hope to see Kellerman installed if fit for Zac brown. Experience in the e fine room vital. Also Kandola for downing. Got a big fat mistake in him. Kandola been consistent and can play

Rest AMS and go with Hemmo down the middle and move Maz inside, plus Kellerman in the middle. That still doesn't mask the need for a new striker.

I’d go with that too. Beef up the midfield and make sure we don’t get overrun there.

Away supporters
This match will not be segregated.

Kidderminster fans should purchase tickets in their specific area of the stadium.
