Just regarding one or two of the comments about Seb Thompson. Nobody is saying he is "the answer". However, having lost Joe Foulkes for a while to injury, it seems extraordinary to me that Seb has not even been on the bench for either the Chorley or Chester games.
He was overwhelmingly voted man of the match against a team from the league above. During the game against Sutton he was tirelessly up and down the right wing, frequently beat defenders and put in some great crosses. After a couple of dodgy defensive moments in the first half, he tightened up really well and was immaculate in the second half (perhaps Phil Brown cannot see the far side of the pitch!).
Seb has hardly had a look in since scoring the sensational goal against Oxford City (one of my highlights of the season).
If I were the lad, I'd be totally hacked off.
PS - my surname is not Thompson, and I am not related.

My perspective purely from the highlights is that we had the best chance to win it. Maz was through on goal and made the wrong choice when he looked like he could have rounded the keeper with ease.
Maz's effort was pulled back for a foul.ograzebrook wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2025 11:58 am My perspective purely from the highlights is that we had the best chance to win it. Maz was through on goal and made the wrong choice when he looked like he could have rounded the keeper with ease.
Shame Devine didn't have that extra yard of pace to maybe nick it past the keeper and roll it in, or take the hit for a certain red for their keeper.
