Captain Crazy passed away yesterday, 2 days short of his 80th birthday. RIP.

I've done a little piece in the Harriers Arms section of the forum. Can people post their tributes in that thread please.

This was kept quiet! Played for them on Wednesday evening.

Would have thought he'd be sent somewhere to stretch him a little bit more.

In fairness Phil, he started the season at Stourport Step 5 and Quorn are at Step 4. Impressive a few weeks back when I saw them dismantle Worcester 4-1 at Claines

Happy for him - he's got a point to prove. Good finish too

Jumping the gun here - but just seen the prices for Peterborough Sports to get in. £18! The same as for Aggborough?! Are they out of their tree?

Rumours are that we were in for Rakeem Harper, who had been training with the club, but joined Port Vale last week. Apparently he had been training with us for the last few weeks but couldn't/didn't agree to terms. So we are looking for players...

Taylor Foran, defender on loan from Bromley.
Ideal as we need cover there.
Given he is here until January it makes you wonder how far off is actually Downing from returning?
if you couple goals with clean sheets you've a recipe for success

We need Hemmo and MAz really to step up as AMS goal to games ratio is decent, and to be fair to the two of them they are stepping up. Beresford is back too and he has a poachers look about him. Lets see how they do.
Clearly a centre half was needed given the lack of available ones at the club. A midfielder is a must IMO, get one of them in we will start pumping teams big!

It feels as if it’s possible Downing and Penny won’t play for the club again.

Foran is 21 so not just out an academy and has played 11 games in league two for Hartlepool. Looks older than his years (like when Keith Lowe came to us all those years ago) and is 6 foot 3. Let’s hope he can do the business.
