And even if there was an international stream, unless the Arms wants to face a massive fine, they won't show it.

This season has been an under the radar job, and we're peaking at exactly the right moment. Hereford was obviously the big final hurdle. One more game to tick off, and we're Champions.
The sooner we're out of this tinpot league the better!
I had my name down and they called me up. They said they were booking me on before it goes back on sale today. But there is every chance it sold out again if they were calling people. Just keep an eye on the websiteHarry Aire wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 5:07 pm You seem to have inside knowledge drpaine. How soon is "soon" please?
I wouldn’t say I feel totally relaxed, after all, it is 11 v 11 and I have seen enough football to know anything can happen, but…maxspeed wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 9:30 pmI've been very chilled since 5pm on Monday.Grenoble Harrier wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 6:17 pm I think we all need to chill.

I have the same feeling I had ahead of Brackley two years ago - that we have done the hard work and that the players know exactly what they are doing and are in control.
For me the biggest test in the play-offs was Kings Lynn away and we passed that with flying colours. Brackley away, despite our abysmal record there previously, held no demons after that. Likewise, if we can thrash a play-off chasing Hereford, we should be confident playing a Southport side who will finish in the bottom third and have nothing to play for on Saturday.
We also now have the experience of Brackley and winning a game to win promotion - six of Saturday’s likely starters started at Brackley, and there are others in the squad/starting 11, such as McNally, Foulkes and Penny that will have been present at both games. Add to that the career experience of the likes of Davis and Worrall, who will start, fitness permitting, and I have no concerns that we will “freeze” on Saturday.
That sounds dangerously like logic to me!TomLong78 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 8:09 amI wouldn’t say I feel totally relaxed, after all, it is 11 v 11 and I have seen enough football to know anything can happen, but…maxspeed wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 9:30 pmI've been very chilled since 5pm on Monday.Grenoble Harrier wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 6:17 pm I think we all need to chill.

Think the pre-Brackley feeling is a great way to sum it up. The cautious optimism and feeling the hardest parts have passed, but still aware football can be football.TomLong78 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 8:09 amI wouldn’t say I feel totally relaxed, after all, it is 11 v 11 and I have seen enough football to know anything can happen, but…maxspeed wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 9:30 pmI've been very chilled since 5pm on Monday.Grenoble Harrier wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 6:17 pm I think we all need to chill.

Looks like we’ll end up with close to 2000 going to Southport, which is brilliant.
