Did he make a contribution? No idea. Did he score? No. Just because he came on as a sub doesn't mean we should have used him more. He was injured for part of the loan I believe.tonythescout wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 3:39 pm Fin Roberts a player deemed not good enough even to make our bench has just come on as a sub for Crewe in league two against walsall

He missed an absolute sitter to equalise, didn’t make a difference in the end

If Gloucester win they will be in NLN next season but if they lose then I calculate that Merthyr Town could be in our league!Dan wrote: Mon May 05, 2025 11:50 am Ed Williams will be in action today for Gloucester in their play off final, could be facing them next year

Merthyr would be a good new ground but they’re gonna be tricky team so hopefully Gloucester

I saw Neil MacFarlane’s Brentford u21s progress in the Professional Development League today with a fine 3-0 win against Barnsley u21s … I just wanted to be a bit cool and add something to this thread, sorry.
Great bloke Neil. Used to have a chat at the gym couple of years ago.Wymondham harrier wrote: Mon May 05, 2025 5:57 pm I saw Neil MacFarlane’s Brentford u21s progress in the Professional Development League today with a fine 3-0 win against Barnsley u21s … I just wanted to be a bit cool and add something to this thread, sorry.
Certainly wasn't my opinion of him. He's proved that since he left us.Dan wrote: Sat May 10, 2025 7:36 pm Ryan Johnson’s, one of the worst cbs for us in recent times, in the play off semis for Wimbledon tonight. Sam Austin not included for Notts

His record since he left Harriers suggests that, for some reason, we did not get the best out of Ryan J.
It happens.

I'd say some parts of our fanbase are extremely harsh and over demanding. Players would be aware of this. So I'd agree, we perhaps aren't as attractive a club as we could/should be.
