Not sure who's running it. Liam Carroll?

Just watched this just now. It could do with a kick up the bum (already).

Not very exciting ? Who was who ? Camera was too near and you couldn't see Liam at times.

A bit of a tweak and it could work but Wes and Nick have little to fear.

I have watched it just now, great idea and for a first try not too shabby - a bit of a Harriers Appreciation Society which lacked objectivity, but I'm sure it will get better and more professional as they go along.

Film it after three beers apiece in the Bear and Wolf; that'll spice it up!! :D

Initially like it. I will sit down with a cup of tea later and watch in full.

It's not the defacto works Teams meeting format which is a start but they need to sort the out of framing issue, they need a sofa? How are they going to keep it interesting going forward? The intro is a bit long and it will be tedious after episode 3.

Its intereting that we have so many talented media and journalistic people in the Harriers fan base, gifted with microphone and pen, some at national level. How? Why?

I know Adam who presents it - the club chaplain, or at least he was. I wonder what view the club will take. He runs the ELIM chapel near the club. Nice guy.

Watched the first couple of minutes. Fine? I find the video 'podcast' format difficult. I want something I can put on in the background and walk around listening to, not have to have on the top of my phone or computer. Same applies to Wes'. Nick tends to put the audio somewhere which is handy, an actual podcast.

Not sure there's room for both this and Wes' (Nick's is different, to be fair to him). Will be interesting to see how long these will last. To make them work, you need to commit to having a weekly episode come what may, every week, and be consistent. How are you going to keep this up over the summer? Odd to have something and then leave it (presumably) for a month.

Like the fact it's not done over Microsoft Teams. Looks a more professional set up (apart from the framing). But again - wonder how sustainable it is?

It's a shame some didn't/don't offer to help on here. HO could have turned into a Bulls News type of website with a load of staff having their own area to look after (although that site is a bit C&P at times}

Maybe they just don't like me :(

In my case Phil (as a journo of 15 years till the pandemic), it's the sort of thing I'd love to do but simply don't have time for. I still do some writing on the local chess scene in Shropshire (that's my hobby), and anyone involved in teaching will know it's utterly consuming.

I must admit I do find it hard to be truly journalistically neutral when covering Harriers. I covered Kiddy's Trophy semi final second leg at Northwich and was on the pitch at the end 😂 I was in the press bench at Aggborough for the infamous Exeter games when Yates headbutted Elam. I made a fan-like "oh come off it" comment when an Exeter player went down really easily and got a lot of funny looks 😂 It's really hard when you're so emotionally invested!

I have massive respect for Nick (Aberred) for the job he's done covering Harriers on TV (for our year back in the National League). You can tell he's a bit partisan, but he's always so knowledgeable about the opposition that he always comes across as do credible. As we grew up living in the same street and knowing it's something he always wanted to do, it's great to see he's such a success at it!

All Wes, Phil, another of my ideas that I should have done years ago.

Had a watch of it the other day and it's good to hear new voices and opinions. Few technical issues which can be ironed out but I'm sure that will be sorted easily enough.

I'm sure there's room for other podcasts obviously, and hope that everyone backs each other's work.

I really like Wes' new format and like the latest instalment as it's pacey and bounces around the guests well.

I would never have the time to do the weekly episodes regularly, and more than happy with my longer form interviews (which have been well received). I'll hopefully get to do some more regularly but work is pretty full-on at the moment which is taking me all over the place, but work is going on behind the scenes to get a few more episodes out soon.

Exciting close season so far though, and nice to have something positive to talk about.
