I wonder if the contract termination point was June 1st, and as such he was told he would officially be relieved of his duties properly from that point on
(And put on gardening leave up until that point)

Cash flow probably isn’t great at this time of year and may be easier to continue paying his wages rather than settle for a lump sum. The club would also avoid paying the full balance of his contract if they pay his wages until he gets another job. I gather this is what happens often when managers get ‘sacked’.

New academy coach appointed.
Richard Dalton; is this linked to the new Manager, or is this a separate appointment from the running of the club?
Who is he? cant seem to find out much about the guy.

Don't know if this has been posted on here yet, Still struggling.
I’d like to thank you for the fantastic welcome I’ve had since becoming Kidderminster Harriers Manager.
I’ve known since I was a young man that this is a special football club. I had the opportunity to play here under Jan Molby when Kidderminster was an EFL outfit, and memories from that time have stayed with me.
I said when I was appointed that, ever since that time in 2003, I’ve kept the club in my mind. I’m from Birmingham and I know about this part of the country; what makes it tick and the type of people who live here. I’ve always felt these were my type of people and, though I’ve had some incredible experiences at some wonderful football clubs in my career, it’s no secret I was pleased to hear some familiar accents when I took the job last month!
I hope you can see that we have started work quickly to build a squad for the new season. I know from my own personal experience at a great club in Eastbourne last season just how painful an end of season it was for you here. That said, that’s gone now, it’s behind us and we move on, together, to a new journey.
We’ve retained a core of very good squad with Amari Morgan-Smith and Ashley Hemmings just a couple of the names staying with us. I’m pleased to say Kam Kandola has agreed a new contract with us for 2025-26 to add to that number. I’m sharing this news with you in this e-mail before an announcement is made, and I hope it excites you as much as it does me. In addition, we’ve made five new signings so far that bring quality across the pitch: Pierce Bird, Jack Clarke, Luke Spokes, George Walker and Dan Mooney. We have one more to announce shortly and are working on other targets as we speak.
I’m also told we are ahead on Season Ticket sales compared to this time last summer, with 550 sold so far. I’m delighted to hear that, so happy. To have that support from you at this stage is vital. If you’ve yet to buy or renew your Season Ticket, it isn’t too late for you to do so. The Early Bird window, which offers the best value and perks, ends on 30th June, and there are some helpful links in this e-mail to guide you to the best place for more details on what Season Ticket gets you and how to buy one. Within the package is a promise from us to send Season Ticket-exclusive content straight to your inbox, just like this one, in 2025-26.
We are lucky to have a Chairman in Richard Lane who has shown belief and dedication to Kidderminster Harriers. His passion was immediately clear to me when I met with him and Dean Holdsworth, and it’s part of what drew me here. Richard, myself, myself, my players, we are all working hard to build for what will be a relentless and ruthless season, but we need you. So, please, if you haven’t yet, get that Season Ticket and join us.
I look forward to seeing each and every one of you at Aggborough in August. What a privilege and honour it will be to manage this fantastic club.

So, Hemmo triggered a contract extension....AMS also??
He seems to have aged since he signed!
Each time I listen to AM, he impresses me more.
He's calm, measured and knows exactly what he wants.
He appears to give much thought to every aspect of the squad and training and he fills me with optimism. That's easy to say when the season hasn't started and I hope I'm not proved wrong.
