I thought it was about time i found out something about the league structure for ladies football - please add corrections if i got it wrong -

Most leagues have about a dozen teams in - so the pyramid is -

Top league is Women's Super League, with the like of Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea etc

Next is the Championship league, with the likes of Birmingham, Newcastle etc

Then 2 parallel leagues -National league Northern and National league Southern

Then 4 National league division 1's (North, Midlands, SE and SW )

Then several regional leagues, including West Midlands Regional Women's Football League in which our ladies play !
(at the moment the ladies are second out of 12 teams) - so -fifth tier

Are they still in the league as Shrewsbury Town? I only ask because I know the Shrewsbury right back! Both Shrewsbury and Kiddy gave made the third round of the cup - Shrewsbury have got Wolves!

Harriers' team certainly seems to be growing in stature. Stourbridge were the team with money to burn a few years ago but they seem on the way down - the balance of power could be shifting...

yep Kiddy ladies in same league as Shrewsbury - Kiddy 3rd and Shrews 5th at the moment

grats to the Shrews for getting Wolves in the next round of their FA cup - and Kiddy will play Blackburn Rovers, so two quite big games there
