Renewed relationship between KHIST and KHFC

Prior to the KHIST AGM, the KHIST board members had discussed the desire to reopen communications between KHFC and KHIST

At the AGM held on 21st September 2024 at the Harriers Social Club this was further discussed, and our members unanimously supported a proposal to reopen communications with the football club. A letter expressing this decision has been sent to Richard Lane, the majority shareholder of the club.

The letter acknowledged that communications with the club had been strained, a situation extending back to the football club’s previous ownership and that we are keen to establish a renewed relationship between KHIST and the football club.

The letter proposed an informal meeting with the hope that it would lay the foundation for a working relationship between both parties in the future.

We are currently awaiting a response from Richard Lane regarding the offer to reopen communications and will keep you updated on this.
