Devine had a good game, no criticism to him but Foulkes won us that game. It just shows they look at the goalscorers or maybe if there's a clean sheet pick a defender/keeper at random

Devine was good but I dont think he was in my top 4 for motm nominations
Foulkes was a level above everyone. Davis and Adigun very good. Thought Zander was a massive threat.
if you couple goals with clean sheets you've a recipe for success

Two in then.

I can’t seem to find any info about Arthur Squire?

Murray clearly doesnt rate Bishop or Palmer to step in
Hopefully the midfielder is ready for a physical battle, this isnt the sort of league you can tikitaka around like they do in Spain

What’s the point in having Bishop on the books if AM doesn’t think he’s good enough to step up? Poor lad must be feeling unwanted.

Was it Malvern Town that Bishop was last on loan at? And he’s been to Stourport. So to ask him to come and step up into a NLN game is a big risk.
So why have him at all? I expect there’s merit to having another goalkeeper (and Palmer, who coaches) for Dibble to train with. And he’s probably on a small wage and he’s there, in this exact situation, if we couldn’t have got a suitable emergency loan.
It would be brilliant if we could keep a NLN quality second keeper but don’t expect it’s economical.

Damning on the youth policy? Any decent young keeper will be at a bigger club nowadays. Would be lovely to have a conveyer belt of NLN talent down the ranks but not easy competing with the local larger academies.

I'm feeling very weird this season. I've been there in person for 2 games, watched the rest bar 1 in the league back on video.

I don't mind the principles on the pitch I've seen, and agree with AM that there's more to come. I'm just lacking a connection - even when I've been almost completely exiled over the last season or 2 I've felt a connection. For me, it's the constant Southern plundering.

I'm sure the new keeper is good. His only crime is being yet another Eastbourne old boy.

Perhaps this is all "old man yells at cloud, doesn't like change", I don't know.

I don't mind the play on the pitch, I don't mind listening to AM. I want to love it all. There's just something in the way with it.

A new partner constantly talking about their ex and taking you to places they went with their ex gets tiresome very quickly.

I suppose in fairness to Murray he has to decide if he can take a chance with Bishop or get a proven keeper he knows in to fill the gap albeit short term.
The young lad Squire could well be a very shrewd addition.

Maybe Bishop is injured, or one of those who are ill.....
I would imagine such a late arrival would indicate that.

Could be wrong of course.

He was on loan also at Worcester city. Malvern town aren’t as low down as you think. Either way, I recall Danny Lewis and John danby being thrusted in and it didn’t do them any harm. Any point in having a back up keeper if he isn’t going to get a game in these circumstances for one game. Apparently he is meant to be heading to bromsgrove on loan or was until dibble got suspended.
Keeper sounds another bird Clarke innocent, a mate of Murray. Hope he isn’t being looked at as a possible replacement for dibble who imo is the best keeper in league.
Unsure on the CM signing. We have Kandola Davis Clarke Reynolds and spokes all vying for two spots. Why do we need a sixth option? Someone on way out?
