KHIST (Kidderminster Harriers Independent Supporters Trust) wishes to inform all supporters of Kidderminster Harriers Football Club that we have received formal notification from Wyre Forest District Council regarding the potential sale of Aggborough Stadium and the adjacent car park. This notification was issued under the Assets of Community Value (ACV) framework, which KHIST successfully applied for to help protect this vital community asset.
In response, KHIST has contacted Wyre Forest District Council to request assurances regarding any covenants or conditions that may be attached to any sale. Our aim is that the stadium and surrounding land will continue to be safeguarded for football use as the home of Kidderminster Harriers Football Club, both now and in the years ahead. We believe this transparency will help to provide meaningful reassurance to supporters and the wider community, and will be crucial in the context of any prospective sale.
KHIST have also formally notified KHFC of the potential bidder for Aggborough Stadium and the adjacent car park. If KHFC themselves are the potential bidder, KHIST have requested written confirmation that the club’s intentions include securing Aggborough Stadium as the long-term home of Kidderminster Harriers Football Club.
KHIST will continue to keep supporters informed as further information is received.
