Claub Secretary Pat Davis in the 1927-28 season.
Davis admitted he had offered Burton Town players a ten shillings bonus if they beat Worcester City in the last match of the season. The match was drawn so the bonus was never paid. Pat Davis was temporarily suspended as a result.
