I appreciate why people are skeptical over another youth prem level signing as its historically a hit or miss situation - but let's give him a chance.
Hes at a premier league club for a reason and highly thought of by all accounts.
This last week or so Kobe Hall, Samsung Hewitt & The Ox have been sent out or deals extended - so let's hope this is because we have at least another one incoming
Let's hope Mr Hewitt doesn't phone it in!

I do believe there are folk on here who would be moaning if we had signed Ollie Watkins from Villa!
Welcome Charlie Lutz hope you like it here an do well for us and silence the moaning minnies.
This is quite a silly post Pershore.
nope - not silly at all - you gotta have a positive attitude - when i suggested we would have thrashed Brackley in the postponed game that was positive mental attitude - i hope the players dont have the attitide that its all gonna be tough when they go out onto the pitch - be positive and have faith in your own abilities and you will get a better outcome !

I'm just saying that signing Ollie Watkins and signing Charlie Lutz are clearly very different things.
I totally agree that a positive attitude is massively important. But it's also not simply "negative" but reasonably objective to point out that we haven't signed the level of striker that some of us were hoping for and which may well be necessary to have any real chance of winning the league.
Obviously I hope everything comes up roses, but I just can't see it. Which isn't to say it's all doom and gloom or that we don't have some really great players.
That's the frustrating thing. It feels like we're just missing one.

What if the money isn't there to sign this established goalscorer everyone wants?

Then make friends with KHIST and organise a boost the budget campaign. Do not pretend there is no such thing as a supporters' trust, ignore their letters and reserve all your attention for corporate sponsors. We're here for life and we actually care about these things.

Fair comment. But it seems RL is never going to re-engage. Where was the last time we had any sort of public quote or comment from him? Anyone? Who knows what his long term plans are? Stick around? The ground? The lease? Improvements? Look for others to come in? Who knows?
The TV in the East Stand has been on the blink for weeks. Does anyone care? Does anyone know? Is there any mechanism for the bog standard fan to raise questions and issues?
In terms of money for players I’m led to believe, as Mayo said, that it’s there.

I know Phil. With all due respect to him, not quite what I was hoping for.

I hope I'm totally wrong. But wanted someone who has banged in 20 goals in men's football this season or previous one.

Transfer window doesn’t apply to our level does it? Still time, keep hoping.

Who can we realistically expect that's fit and raring to go and has recently banged goals in?
What concerns me is the supposed meetings we've had with players and they opt for other clubs.
