It appears that quite a high percentage of the players that were on our books, last season, have managed to get themselves promoted to the National League . . . just not with us !

Kobe Hall scores a first half hat-trick in Bromsgrove's friendly at the Swifts last night. He played just the first half. 4 goals in 2 friendlies.

Not overly concerned we released him
He, like Fremantle, is probably a level lower than us at best.

Writing a player off at 18/19 is daft.

Think we should have kept Kobe. Freemantle was a good few years older, and if he was going to kick on and become a first team player, he would have (as much as I liked him!).

I see Hemmo will get to play alongside the legend that is Andy Carroll - WOW.

Hemmo must be licking his lips. Andy Carroll's reputation alone is likely to mean that opposing centre halves will give him their full attention. Hemmo may well be back among the goals this season.

D&R fans will be licking their lips too. Exciting times there. I watched the Carroll interview. He settled in East London area when playing for West Ham so D&R an obvious choice for him at this level. I'm wondering how much of these developments – Carroll and the Qatar investment – were known at the time Hemmo was tempted to join them.

It'll be the same old story; Carroll will play three games, get sent off , then do his cruciate and sit the rest of the season out........ :rolllaugh:

JET released from prison a month after being jailed for four years. Early release scheme in practice. Absurd.

Sad to see some ex-Harriers players, and one current one, bigging him up on his Instagram 'back in training' video. Given two were acquitted, including his girlfriend, he had thrown under the bus with his scheme.

Wasn't it a one year 7 month jail term to serve and already done 9 months + on remand. Now out with an electronic tag. Why let facts get in the way of a good story.
