"Jay Emmanuel-Thomas has been sentenced to four years in prison for his role in a £600,000 cannabis smuggling operation."

"Former Arsenal prodigy Jay Emmanuel Thomas, 34, was sentenced to four years when he appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court today (Thursday 5 June)."
The Athletic article makes reference to it being reduced - but cannot find where that happened. Can't see an application that the sentence was unduly harsh, and having it reduced.

He was played 1 game maybe 2 and got an eye injury and didn't play again. Clearly been given a chance again
Today I went to Halesowen 2-3 Hednesford
Jason Cowley opened the scoring for the Yeltz, who led 2-0 at half time. Cowley hit the bar, they hit the bar again and has loads of chances, it should have been 4 or 5 at the break.
The second half started in similar fashion until our old friend Nathan Blissett came off the bench for the visitors. Within 10 minutes of Bliss’ introduction, it was 2-3. He didn’t score but was involved in all three and it was very pleasing to see.
Attendance was 740 with 167 (headcount) from Hednesford

Former keeper Luke Simpson has retired. Brilliant for us.
if you couple goals with clean sheets you've a recipe for success
