Spokes was gone as soon as left for Weston on loan. Him officially going will free up wages. Shame
On TO as would have liked to have see him start tonight as he seemed to be the only ten
On spikes again yes better than hall and Clarke but he doesn’t want to be here mainly on the bench.
Clarke needs to go he is dreadful, hall was rushed back against a tough side last week- happy to wait on him but seen enough to Clarke to think no thank u

I had to laugh at that, as it seems a very, very long time since one of our club legends was spotted reading Joseph Conrad's 'Heart of Darkness' for his OU English degree......... :D

I wasn't sure where to put this observation so I'm sticking it here. I was bemused by the "searches" by security staff at the turnstiles before the Merthyr match.
We were invited to empty our pockets and then to pat ourselves down. I have to confess that the search I conducted on myself wasn't very thorough.
Nobody was receiving a proper search.
Quite what they expected, I don't know. Perhaps "oh, silly me, I didn't realise I'd still got a couple of flares tucked in the top of my socks"
It was like a case of marking your own homework.
What is the club having to fork out for security staff to do next to nothing? Is it just a box-ticking exercise?

Box ticking? Oh you mean like telling everyone at every home game that we are a non-smoking stadium when in fact...

We get an interesting mention in this interview with John Eustace:

Last season the stadium fire alarm was giving itself a hernia for at least 10 minutes before the 3pm kick off. I asked a "security guard" if we were evacuating the stadium or what and he replied " I dunno mate I'm just security"

Another example of the proliferation of non-essential and useless jobs in all aspects of our modern society
.....but then I'm a grumpy old git at the best of times...... :D

Harriers inviting corporates to play at Aggborough post season (but possibly during the playoffs!) In a five a side tournament.

Not one for this normally...but why on earth is there not a similar day for fans?! A joke. Come on, it's not all about businesses!

This is good. Surprises me we've not done it more often.

Fifty quid for a family of four to see the changing rooms? No thanks.

I only clocked the family of four point when someone else made it. You are spot on, that is too much. Surely should do a 'family ticket' for £40 or so, one child free.

Charging for a mascot is daft and completely unnecessary. These kids are often already season ticket holders. Basically hitting them twice, and meaning only the kids whose parents can afford to stump up £100 can be a mascot.
