I'm hopeful Hereford will stay up - worth it for the two games a season with decent crowds. It must be worth thousands of pounds to Harriers for the away fans!

Similar see Altrincham - one season in the Northern Prem and then bounced straight through the North and now a comfortable National League side (although maybe a bit disappointing this season).

That's assuming Harriers are still in NLN - have to think positive, hope we don't play them again !!

Hereford stay up.

Morecambe and Brackley come down. You’d think they’d both be a threat.
Harborough and their money come up.
Hednesford and their money come up (perhaps - it’s right there).
FC Utd might be back.
Redditch or Halesowen would be interesting and keep West Mercia police on their toes. But could as easily be Real Bedford (good grief ..) or Spalding.
Chester might challenge next year.
If whatever reason one of Shields or Fylde don’t make it up then they’ll be favourites.
You’d think Macc will be having another good go should they not go up through the play-offs.

It’s not going to be easy that’s for sure.

Perhaps Merthyr and Telford won’t have such good seasons.

And then we’ll have Bury steaming through in the next few years.

All the more reason to get out of this gawd awful 'pub team' (where applicable) league with their plethora of plastic pitches. After all that's the mandate Adam Murray was given at the start of the season.

Agree with all of this. However I feel like I've had these same conversations at the end of every season ahead of the next one. Other clubs won't want to fancy playing us either.

If one of the teams in the relegation places is going to stay up, it's going to be either Alfreton or Hereford. Now, is there anyone amongst us who wouldn't want it to be Hereford? Alfreton bring very little to the games against the Harriers - neither money through the turnstiles nor attractive football on the pitch.

As much as I am not a fan of Hereford at all... I can't disagree with any of this.

Former Bull Jarrod Bowen has donated a"substantial sum" to sort the drainage problem at Edgar Street in the future.

Good for him. He comes across as a decent bloke.

But it never fails to amaze me, bearing in mind the gulf in wealth between the top level and ours, how little appears to filter down by way of financial help, gifts, support etc. Or maybe we don’t hear about it?

I'm not sure about these days but a few years ago the hoops needed to jump through to get a ground improvement grant from the powers that be were extensive, complex and lengthy.
The ones that come to mind are that we had some cash for a floodlight upgrade (before the LED ones) and we were 'given' 5 grand for a second hand roller for the pitch in 2013.

Strange day all round today;
South Shields had blown it until an equaliser in injury time, but now have to beat us and hope Fylde lose now (or beat us by three if Fylde draw with play-off chasing Merthyr?)
Should be a nervy game for the top two next week, Merthyr have to go full pelt and if they are a goal up might Harriers decide to 'do a Wrexham' and ship a couple of goals? I'd fancy us at Fylde.......a discussion for later maybe.......

Alfreton were relegated until an injury time winner in a 3-2. Curzon and Alfreton play each other last game, so Hereford's game in hand looks doubly vital now, even after a 3-1 win.
