Ryley? (He's only played for us for two years, baffles me how people haven't learnt his name).

At the end of the season, I presume? Not a surprise. He's been a bit inconsistent at times but more often than not he's a cut above this level.

*Ryley
May have played his last game I’m told. Never fall in love with a loan player.

But the transfer window has closed hasn't it? Is the loan window still open (and can Notts County recall him at this stage?)? I'm sceptical about this.

If true - that's as big of a loss as Paul Kalambayi was. Ironically we could have played Hemmo in that role. Will need a replacement.

Find that hard to believe at this stage of the season, could absolutely ruin us though if true. He’d be extremely difficult to replace.

Not heard anything on RR but if true massive blow. 8 goals from our midfield and the only one capiable of playing a more advanced role. The others we have are CDMs in all honesty.
if you couple goals with clean sheets you've a recipe for success

Ryley strikes me as a decent, principled young man that wouldn't wish to jump ship on us now. However he has a young family and has to do what is best for his longer term future. Fingers crossed a way can be found to keep him at Aggborough till the end of the season.

I have no inside track, and of course this could happen with a loan player, but I’d be surprised.

Yes, I believe Ryley is out of contract in the summer at Notts and will be looking for a deal somewhere else and stability, so a 2 year offer on the table now would be attractive.

But I understand he grew up in Birmingham and therefore will have family locally. Yeovil are a division above us, but there’s still the chance we could be in the same division next season. And if we do get promoted, Ryley will have been an important part of that promotion, and pretty much guaranteed a contract with us, probably 2 years.

Therefore whilst there is a risk in turning down a 2 year deal at Yeovil now (if it were offered), and we can’t know what his agent (if any) will be advising, unless Yeovil are offering silly money, from both a family and footballing perspective, I would think he’d be better off holding out for now and waiting to see what happens over the next couple of months.

It was a relief to see Ryley's face as the photo on the team sheet for tonight & to see his name on it.

Feels like the odds of him disappearing have just substantially dropped. Thank God.

I see he scored his 2nd goal for them last night. Must be back in favour there and enjoying it now

Another ex-Eastbourne Borough player signs, Brayden Johnson from Middlesborough.

I'd think just another addition, rather than a replacement. Sounds like he could be a good addition, on the basis that Middlesborough signed him from Eastbourne.
