What a time to visit that lot from down the road. Lionel Newton has just gone and now Jan is likely to follow him soon, if he hasn't done so already.

    Talk about timing.

Still now's the time to give all we have for the cause and give them a good hammering, just like last season when we beat them 3-1 with goals from Webby, Birdie and Broughton.

All it needs is plenty of encouragement from the fans and commitment from the players and we can do it.

Luckily we may be able to do it with the help of Danny Williams, who will be playing with a heavily strapped ankle, and Richie Appleby who should both be back for the game.
Scott Stamps could be in the squad too, the only doubt being Dean Bennett (thigh), so for the first time in ages we are back to having a full turnout to choose from, except Blakie that is.

    Harriers (from):
Brock, Danby, Joy, Stamps, Smith, Clarkson, Sall, Ayres, Hinton, Ducros, Williams, Appleby, Davies, Henriksen, Broughton, Shilton, Larkin, Foster, Bird.

Cheltenham are expected to announce an unchanged side from the one that dropped two points at home to Rochdale on Saturday.

This side will include ex Harrier Mark Yates. I heard a rumour the other day that he's not happy at Whaddon Rd and is looking for pastures new, as long as he doesn't want to come back to Aggie!

They have taken 19yr old Nathan Tyson on loan from Reading until the end of the season in an effort to get the average age of their squad down below 35yrs.
It won't work with all those pensioners like Alsop, Grayson, Brough and Naylor there. Give Naylor his due though, he still knows where the goal is.

Jokes aside, Cheltenham are having a great run this season and have lost only once in the last eighteen games, and that was like ourselves at Halifax.

They look certain to enter the play offs, and good luck to them but they may find us joining them after we beat them tonight and Southend on Saturday.

If we win tonight and Plymouth do likewise at Rochdale then they will be the first team promoted this season.

    Cheltenham (from):
Book, Griffin, Duff, Banks, Victory, Williams, Yates, Finnigan, Milton, Alsop, Naylor, Brough, Grayson, Higgs, Howarth, Tyson, Walker, Devaney.
