Rochdale (Boxing Day home ko 1:00pm)
Here's the first of the Christmas previews and I hope you'll excuse them being brief.
Boxing Day brings the visit of one of the season pacesetters with Rochdale Utd who after leading the table early on are now still well placed in 5th place
Neither side played on Saturday due to postponements, us at Halifax and Rochdale at home to York City.
Before the cancellation of our game we had no injury problems so it should be the same team as against Exeter City.
Ian Clarkson's flu should have gone by now and he will be in the squad.
Harriers (from):
Brock, Danby, Joy, Stamps, Clarkson, Sall, Shail, Hinton, Blake, Williams, Davies, Bennett, Shilton, Appleby, Doyle, Larkin, Ducros, Broughton, Henriksen, Foster, Bird.
Rochdale have just gone through a bit of an upheaval with the departure of previous boss Steve Parkin to Barnsley.
In has come John Hollins who didn't do a fine job at Swansea.
Their form since he arrived has been a bit miss & miss, they have only picked up two points in the past month with a 2-2 draw at home to Lincoln City and a 1-1 at Hartlepool the following week, losing at home to Southend last week.
Hollins signed a new striker, Lee McEvilly, from non-league Burscough over the weekend but it's doubtful if he will be playing.
McEvilly is Hollins' third signing since being appointed manager of Rochdale.
He has already signed Bolton keeper Steven Banks on a month's loan, and former Eire International Alan McLoughlin on a one month contract last week.
One definitely not starting will be wunderkid Kevin Townson who is serving the third day of his three match suspension.
Rochdale (from):
Banks, Edwards, Evans, McAuley, Griffiths, Oliver, Atkinson, Durkan, Platt, Dunning, Jobson, Connor, Coleman, Flitcroft, Doughty, McCourt, Green, Ware, Todd, Gilks.
