After the disappointing result against Plymouth, at Aggborough on Saturday, when we failed to turn all that possession into goals then Jan will be looking for a few at Gay Meadow.

But will that be the place to get them?

Although spoils were shared over the two games last season, with a win for both sides, I think we came out of the games with a bit more credit than the Shrews did.

In the first game at Gay Meadow we played them off the park.
It took strongarm tactics on the likes of Thomas Skovbjerg coupled with a superb performance from Paul Edwards in their goal and it was obviously going to be hard to score.

In the end a last minute winner from Matt Redmile grabbed the points for the undeserving Shrews.

At Aggborough we again were the better side but this time we ran out easy 3-1 winners, even though they tried to spoil our day by turning the College End into a nudist colony.
Would have been Ok if it was a chick and not some fat git.

Anyway back to tomorrow night and the possibility of actually scoring some goals.
Will we see a full game from our new loan signing Colin Larkin after he was taken off injured at halftime on Saturday.
He should be fit, it was only a dead leg.

Who will partner him? Drewe Broughton, Stewart Hadley or Dean Bennett again.

He was played as a centre forward on Saturday but a centre forward he aint. I would like to see him play alongside Drewe picking up the nod downs, thats if Drewe manages to get one without sticking his elbows out.

The other question mark is P M-O who has now finished his 3 game suspension.
Will he get his place back easily from Ian Clarkson or will he have to fight for it.

I think he's going to have a fight on his hands, Clarkie had another good game on Saturday so I can't see how Jan could warrant dropping him.

There's no injury news from Aggie apart from Hinton and Foster so this is the squad.

Brock, Murphy, Stamps, Clarkson, Sall, Smith, Blake, Bird, Davies, Faulds, Joy, Bennett, Shilton, Doyle, Foster, Murphy, Hadley, Broughton, Larkin, Ducros, Corbett.

Shrewsbury are one of the surprise teams so far this season along with Mansfield.

Although they lost at Mansfield last Friday the previous week they did the decent thing and beat Cheltenham 2-1 at home, so that's Ok then.

They're 5th in the table at the moment and also 5 points in front of us but that will change by 9:45 tomorrow night.

Injury wise they seem to have no major problems (Jamie Tolley excepted) and will probably put out the same team as in their last 3 games.

    Shrewsbury (from);
Cartwright, Dunbavin, Hart, Rioch, Redmile, Atkins, Rodgers, Jemson, Aiston, Wilding, Drysdale, Jagielka, Heathcote, Tretton, Murray, Lowe, Moss, Jenkins, Seabury, Murphy.

Jamie Tolley has been sent for a MRI scan after debris was found in a swollen ankle so he will be out for a few weeks and so will Chris Freestone who is recovering from a hernia operation.

So who will the dangermen be for the Shrews? Luke Rodgers is one, a very fast forward who is being watched by the big clubs and also Nigel Jemson who used to play for the big clubs but is now in the twilight of his career. Still knocking the goals in though.
