Foster off to the Deva

Ian Foster Today's Express & Star have said that ex Harrier fave, Ian Foster, has joined the Conference side, Chester City.

Foster, who was released by the club at the end of the season has agreed a 2yr deal with the Cheshire club and said this to the E & S:
"I've spoken to Chester a few times in the summer but we've not really talked about money until the last week.
I'm pleased to have got the deal sorted out now.

Ben Davies Chester were the only club to have really offered me something. A couple of other clubs made inquiries but none of them made offers."

Ian will be joining another former Harrier at the Deva Stadium.  Ben Davies signed for City at the end of last season and has been a huge, for someone only 5ft nothing, success for them.

Ian never really excelled in the Football League but would be a good signing for any club in the Conference with his excellent workrate and his eye for goal.

If he can stay injury free then Chester have got a good 'un there.
