Match preview Vs Crawley Town

Date: 21-02-06 Venue: Aggborough Kick off: 19:45hrs
Following what I thought was a disappointing result at Tamworth on Saturday it's a chance to improve on that draw with a win against another struggling Conference side tomorrow evening.    Crawley Town are our guests and they arrive here on the back of a 2-0 win over Altrincham at their place on Saturday.

We were without Daryl Burgess and Jonny Harkness for our game and they will both be facing fitness tests before the decision to play them is made.    If it's decided that they won't be fit then Junior Osborne will continue at full back but Michael Blackwood, who played out of position in the other full back slot, picked up an injury and is doubtful for the game.    I'd expect Wayne Graves to slot in there as he should have done originally but for some unknown reason seems to be out of favour with Mark Yates.    Paul Smith should take over Blackies normal role on the left side of the park.

Crawley also have a few injuries with the ex Hereford man Simon Wormull out with an ankle injury, new signing Omari Coleman out with flu and Danny Brown will also miss out with illness.

We lost against Crawley earlier in the season when we went through an unwanted phase of losing to all the bottom placed clubs one after the other.    We stopped that sequence being re-visited with the slightly more positive result at Tamworth and we now need to go one better and beat another struggling side in Crawley.    That run must then continue when we visit another struggling side on Saturday at Forest Green.

I'm expecting a win tomorrow night but like other Harriers fans I'm wondering where the goals are going to come from.    Andy White opened his account for us with a goal the other day but it looked very unlikely that he would have added to that with a host of missed chances.    His speed of thought is nowhere near as sharp as Christies and I think that any goals he does put away will be down to luck rather than any skill that he has.

Still, as long as someone else knocks in a couple who cares.
