It was the player himself that had originally informed everyone that he was on his way to Aggborough from Tamworth when a news item was published by the local newspaper that he had signed for us. This wasn't confirmed by us and many people were starting to wonder if it was actually happening or was it just wishful thinking on the new boys part.
He had nothing to fear though and today he finally signed a one year contract with us.
The tall, commanding 23yr old defender started his career with another local side, Hednesford, in the Youth team and quickly made his way into the first team before catching the eye of Eastwood Town after playing over 170 games for the Pitmen. In Nottinghamshire he impressed enough to leave for Tamworth after just one season and staying there for just one season also but being good enough to wear the captains armband for the majority of the season.
He has now left the Harriers newest nursery team and signed up with us for the whole of next season.
