Chesterfields Shaun Parrish has finally arrived at Aggborough on a two year deal after much rumour in recent weeks. After spending 2 years in Derbyshire and turning down an extension on his contract he felt that it was time for a change.

30yr old Welsh born Parrish is a left sided midfielder who has been bought in to take the place of Richie Appleby who has moved on to Hull City.

He started his footballing career at Shrewsbury before moving on to Telford, Doncaster and then Northampton.

Parrish is the first signing for Ian Britton.
