Shrewsbury Town
At Aggborough

18/3/03 3:00pm
After the hard earned 3 points at the Gay Meadow back in October Shrewsbury will be hoping to seek their revenge at Aggie tomorrow evening.  Sorry gay boy's, after our win at Cambridge I can't see you getting much change from our defence and it looks like another few rungs on the league ladder will have been climbed by 9:45 tomorrow night.

The Shrews started the season full of hope but a mixture of poor defending and off field escapades have made them look a bit silly.  64 goals have been leaked at the back giving them the worst defensive record in the league but they've managed to balance this in the goals for section.  Most of these have come from Luke Rogers and it's that man who is in trouble yet again after being sent off against Oxford on Saturday and today making a court appearance in relation to a wounding charge last year.

Suffice it to say that there's been enough said about this in the past but changing your plea to guilty smacks of legal wheeler dealing after he's spent the last six months swearing his innocence.

I would be very surprised if he played tomorrow night.

Shrewsbury didn't appear to have picked up any injuries in Saturday's game so should almost be at full strength.

The only one's who have been out for a while are Leon Drysdale (bruised foot) and Andy Thompson (calf injury and now virus).

Scott Stamps We also came away from Cambridge injury free although Bo Henriksen was a last minute withdrawal due to a tweaked hamstring.  Ian Britton said the reason he didn't play was just a precaution so I would expect him to play against the Shrews.

Scott Stamps looks to be fit again after his appearance on the bench but there's still no sign of Kenny Coleman or Dean Bennett.  Kenny might be fit but Deano won't be.

Result on the night?  Yeh, there'll be a result.
