The Harriers came back from Grimsby on Saturday with a brilliant three points under their belts and the previous week we earned one at Bristol when it should really have been three.  Now tomorrow evening, with the visit of Wrexham, we'll be wanting to add a further three points in our effort to confound the naysayers who think that the Harriers season was over when a ruck of players departed in the last few weeks.

The team spirit shown at those tough away venues can only help to galvanise everyone to roar the Reds on to victory tomorrow night.

We have now, officially, signed the former Wrexham keeper Joslain Mayebi on non-contract terms although this is hardly new to our ears with his presence at Aggborough being noted weeks ago.  He'll only be used as cover for Danny Lewis when necessary and the way that Danny has played in recent weeks he'll take some shifting.  It's doubtful that we'll see Sam Long, signed on loan from Oxford last Thursday, make his debut for us either with the defence also playing well.

Apart from the long term injury to Kyle Storer we should be injury free for the game.

Wrexham are in tatters.  We played there a few months ago in a bad tempered game that they won 1-0 with the help of a shockingly bad referee that let every foul of theirs go un-punished yet penalised ours for the flimsiest of reasons.  Since then they haven't won a league game, dropped from second to twelfth and have a shocking disciplinary record so the man that said cheats don't prosper was dead right.

On Saturday, while we were putting two past second placed Grimsby, they were handing struggling Altrincham the game on a plate with two sendings off after first Louis Moult was deemed to have stamped on a players foot although on video evidence they will be appealing that and having seen the video too I think they should win that.  The other red card was to former Harrier Andy Bishop following a second yellow card for a two footed tackle.  Bishop seems to have acquired a bad habit of getting sent off since he went to Wrexham with three red 'uns in two season there and his previous one coming way back in 2007 for Bury at Chester.

They also have a goal keeper problem with their two first choice keepers, Andy Coughlin and Danny Bachmann both out injured.  To counteract that they bought in youth team keeper Jon Flatt on loan from Wolves but his debut against Altrincham wasn't one to remember.  Here's hoping he plays at Aggborough tomorrow then.

Missing injured they'll have Theo Bailey-Jones (foot)and James Pearson (muscle tear) but Jay Harris could return from injury.

This game is always one fixture that is looked forward to keenly and with the added bonus of getting one back on them for that defeat in September.  As long as that referee, Mr Holmes from West Yorkshire, doesn't travel down in the coach with them.
