Josh isn't injured. Well he wasn't late yesterday afternoon.aberred wrote: Fri Sep 19, 2025 5:27 pm Maybe Bishop is injured, or one of those who are ill.....
I would imagine such a late arrival would indicate that.
Could be wrong of course.

I cannot find anything on this cm. It's like he's decided to be a footballer today
For the second consecutive match in the FA Youth Cup the U18's serve up a memorable cup tie culminating in an exciting penalty shoot out. Again those absent missed an absolute treat. Well done to the whole team and hopefully another home tie.

At home to Chasetown in the next round.

Owen Evans (trialist) has been abiut again apparently

if you couple goals with clean sheets you've a recipe for success
This is what was said when Innocent signed a few weeks ago.
“It’s a great coup for us and I’m very thankful to the Chairman and Dean for making it happen. He’ll add a different dimension and dynamic to us.
“He can play in a couple of positions, he has goals in him and he has assists in him, so we’re over the moon to get him in.”
Guess the travelling was too much for him ?

Possibly.
I haven’t been overly impressed.
Technically yeah decent but his game / physicality isn’t suited for the north like most of Murray’s south signings

Confirmed that Innocent has gone
Two new defenders in - Reece Hall permanently and Connor Barratt on loan.

I won't lie, it does worry me a little that when one player goes, two come in. Happened a couple of times now. I've genuinely lost track of everyone in our squad now, we must be getting close to 30 players?!

I thought at first we'd signed Connor Hall, who would have been a great signing.
Not good to see a manager move on players they've signed about two months ago. This is a more worrying sign than anything else.
Let's see how they get on.

I don’t think AM has “moved” Kai on. Sounds like we wanted him to stay but we couldn’t work out a deal.harry211 wrote: Sat Oct 04, 2025 11:49 am I thought at first we'd signed Connor Hall, who would have been a great signing.

No idea about Kai’s personal circumstances, but if he is London based (or thereabouts) with family, then it’s a big commitment to come to us (Bird and Clarke also came up from Eastbourne, but both grew up in the Midlands).
Kai was clearly on a short-term deal whilst the parties tried to establish if a long term deal was the right thing.
And for whatever reason it hasn’t worked out.
If Bird is indeed injured as well, that will explain the two new lads, given AM’s propensity for seemingly wanting to be able to field two separate XI’s at any one time!
