Hartlepool Utd
At Aggborough
Saturday
5/4/03 3:00pm
It's the clash of the titans tomorrow as we welcome the league leaders, Hartlepool, to Aggborough in a game that could confirm whether we will be in the play-offs or not and whether Hartlepool are good enough to win the title.

Both sides have been faltering in recent weeks and need to get back on track.  Pools have only won twice in the past few months, have lost to Lincoln, Wrexham, Bristol Rovers and shared the points with Bournemouth and Bury.

They'll be hoping the title will have been won by the time they travel to Rushden for the last game of the season otherwise it'll go down to the wire.

We'll be hoping the title won't be won at our expense but we also need to get back to winning after losing our last two games and only managing to draw in the two before that.

With a full week off since defeat at Macclesfield Brit will be expecting to see an improvement from the team and a few more back to full fitness.   JJ will be back from international duty, although he never actually got to play, and Bo Henriksen will still be on the bench as he recovers from his hamstring tweak but he may play a part in the later stages of the game.

Doubtful is Fraser Digby who is said to have a knee injury but rumours, or hopes, are that he has left the club after getting upset about personal remarks about him on the websites, including the Official website!  I have no comment to make on the matter, I just take the flack!

Stuart Brock will again take his place between the sticks and Brit is thinking about recalling John Danby from the Swifts as a precaution.

There should also be a home debut for Hugh McAuley who has signed for the remainder of the season and who made his debut for us in the second half of the game last week.

Hartlepool will have Gordon Watson back for them after he made his comeback from a broken leg in last weeks 0-0 draw against Bournemouth.  Full back Mick Barron is struggling with a groin injury and Paul Arnison stands by to take his place.  Mark Tinkler had a stomach strain during the week but is expected to start tomorrow.
