At Aggborough

18/9/04 3:00pm
After the continuation of our bad run at Swansea on Saturday the last thing we need is a game against a side that have won on their last three visits to Aggborough.

Especially one that easily won 4-1 last season including two goals from Matthew Tipton.  He's still there this season and has now been joined by another hot shot striker Jonathan Parkin.  He's scored six goals so far this season and his partner has grabbed two for himself.

Oh for a strike force like that!

They started the season at the top of the League and haven't moved far from there since.  With this kind of form they look a good bet for the play-offs.  Something we don't at the moment.

Our hopes of a good season are lying firmly on the shoulders of Iyseden Christie and it looks like he's on his way to making his debut for us at last.  He's now back in full time training and made it onto the bench at Swansea.  God help him if he fails to get any goals this season.

Also in line for a start against Macc are Abdou Sall, Youssou Diop and Dean Keates.  John Danby should be ok following the battering he received in the Valley's and so should Lee Jenkins.

Out for the Silkmen will be Matt Carragher (shin) and Steve Payne (knee).

We're supposed to be having some kind of celeb at the game.  I have to admit to never having heard Chris Moyles show and couldn't really care if I don't in the future but it seems to be a bit of publicity for the club.

It could turn out good or bad for us but that's dependent on two things.  We win and Moyles will trumpet the fact on Monday morning.  Lose and he'll just take the piss.

It's up to us do the business against the Macc.
