The forecast is a bit better than yesterday and following snow at the weekend the pitch has now been cleared and the hope is the hard frost, with temperatures as low as -6C expected, will not materialise.
The injury list that City had for, and following, the original tie has now gone and they should only have Darren Kelly and Mark Greaves on the sidelines for the rematch. Our only absentee will be Russ Penn again and our latest signings, Michael Carr and Craig Armstrong will not play either with them both being cup tied.
Another one definitely not playing will be Michael Bowler. He was released from his contract yesterday after failing to make the break through into the side. His cause wasn't helped by getting on the wrong side of Mark Yates after he was blamed for giving a penalty away at Mansfield when in fact he didn't even touch the player.
If the game does get called off then it will be played next Tuesday, the 14th, instead. If there is a draw after ninety minutes then extra time will be played and then penalties. After we've won that we'll go into the next round against either Crawley or Havant & Waterlooville.
